DMX Core - Lighting and Show Control
What is DMX Core?
DMX Core is a lighting control and show playback platform for permanent installations, entertainment venues and integrated AV systems.
It can record lighting data from an external console or software platform and store it as cues for reliable, repeatable playback. Those cues can then be started from a touchscreen, web browser, custom control page, schedule or another connected system.
This allows a designer to create the lighting using their preferred tools while giving the end user a much simpler way to operate it.
An operator might only see a few clearly labelled controls such as Day, Evening, Event and Close. Behind those buttons can sit a complete professionally programmed lighting system.
DMX Core can also operate as a lighting controller in its own right. Fixtures can be configured directly within the platform, grouped into zones and controlled through presets, effects and timelines. This makes it equally useful for recorded show playback and installations that need an all-in-one control system.
The platform is available as software for Windows, macOS and Linux, or on dedicated touchscreen hardware for permanent installations.

Our relationship with DMX Core began on complicated immersive projects, where we needed to control multimedia installations over months-long events and traditional console and network based setups were either impractical or prohibitively expensive.
